Our Mission

To serve residents of Huntington County by providing services, assistance, equipment, and financial aid to disabled individuals, students pursuing careers in helping fields and programs to detect and rehabilitate disabilities in children.


Huntington County HELP, Inc. is a not for profit foundation established to provide assistance to individuals with disabilities through service, equipment, and scholarship.

Huntington County HELP has provided funds for hundreds of individuals to promote ambulation, accessibility, and safety through the purchase of:

  • Wheelchairs
  • Ramps
  • Hearing Aides
  • Lifelines
  • Hoyer Lifts
  • Rehabilitative Equipment
  • Remodeling Projects to Promote Assessibility
  • Transportation
  • Other equipment to assist individuals with disabilities

In addition, HELP provides assistance to groups and organizations that provide services to individuals with disabilities. Organizations that have received assistance through HELP, Inc. include:

  • YMCA Therapy Pool
  • YMCA Champion's League
  • HCCSC Summer Speech Program
  • Kids Kampus/Pathfinder Services
  • Andrews Public Library Remodeling/Accessibility Project
  • Boys and Girls Club
  • Camp Riley
  • Camp Isanogel

Huntington County HELP, Inc. provides approximately $15,000.00 in educational scholarships on an annual basis to individuals with disabilities, and to individuals pursuing careers in fields that promote service to individuals with disabilities (see complete information under scholarships).
